The service

KartChef helps you save recipes, plan meals, and send a merged grocery list to your Kroger-family store account. KartChef is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Kroger Co. Product availability, pricing, and checkout are controlled by Kroger, not KartChef, and may not always be accurate or available.

Your account

You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use KartChef.

Subscriptions and billing

• Free trial. New subscribers get a 14-day free trial of KartChef Premium. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged the subscription price shown at checkout and billing continues automatically from that point on.
• Auto-renewal. KartChef Premium automatically renews at the end of each billing period until you cancel it. Your Apple account is charged at the price shown at the time of purchase, unless Apple notifies you of a price change in advance.
• Cancellation. Cancel anytime in your device's Settings → your name → Subscriptions → KartChef. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends, per Apple's standard rules.
• Refunds. All payments are processed and billed by Apple. We don't process refunds directly — request one through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com or via your purchase history in Settings, subject to Apple's own refund policies.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse KartChef: no scraping, reverse engineering, automated abuse of our servers or the Kroger integration, or uploading content you don't have the right to share. We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service.

Recipe content

When you import a recipe from a website or a shared link, KartChef extracts structured data (ingredients, steps, timing) for your personal use. We don't claim ownership over third-party recipe content, and you're responsible for only importing content you have the right to use.

No warranty

KartChef is provided "as is." We work hard to keep product matches, pricing, and cart sends accurate, but we can't guarantee they're always correct or available, since much of that data comes from Kroger's own systems.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KartChef isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including issues with orders placed through your Kroger account.

Changes

We may update these terms as KartChef evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
