How do I connect my Kroger account?

Open Profile → Store in the app and sign in with your existing Kroger-family account (Kroger, Fred Meyer, Ralphs, QFC, and more). KartChef never sees your password — you sign in directly on Kroger's own page.

Which stores does KartChef work with?

Any store in the Kroger family. KartChef detects your specific banner (Fred Meyer, Ralphs, etc.) automatically once you pick your store.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed through Apple. Go to your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions → KartChef, and cancel there.

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app, go to Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your personal data. Recipes you imported stay in the shared public catalog for other users, but are no longer tied to you.

A recipe link won't import — what do I do?

Some pages (like Canvas-style ChatGPT shares) don't expose readable recipe text. Try sharing the direct recipe page or full conversation link instead. Still stuck? Email us below with the link.

Why won't my Instagram or TikTok recipe import?

KartChef reads the ingredients and instructions straight out of the post's own caption or description — it doesn't watch the video or listen to the audio (yet). If a creator only talks through the recipe on camera without writing it in the caption, there's nothing on the page for KartChef to read. AI video and audio analysis, so KartChef can understand a recipe straight from the video itself, is a coming-soon feature.
